Why Rating Scales?

At Live Well Psychiatry, we're dedicated to helping our patients overcome depression and anxiety. To ensure we're providing the best possible care, we developed a custom-coded application to collect and aggregate patient data from depression and anxiety rating scales. This approach has helped us identify areas for improvement in our treatment approach and has contributed to improved patient outcomes.

Depression and anxiety rating scales are tools that psychiatrists use to measure the severity of a patient's symptoms. By completing these scales before each appointment, our patients help us track their progress over time. We use data analytics to analyze this information and make informed treatment decisions. Basically, it helps us know what treatments are working best for other patients with similar diagnoses and demographcs. We can then make the best decision for current and future patients.

Our approach has been particularly effective for patients who have been treated elsewhere without success. Over 80% of our patients have been treated unsuccessfully elsewhere before they come to our clinic, many for years or even decades. The graph below shows that about 75% of our patients' depression and anxiety symptoms are gone after 5 months, and over 90% are well at 12 months.

By using data analytics to track patient progress, we're able to identify areas for improvement in our treatment approach and adjust our methods accordingly. This has helped us provide more effective treatment to our patients and has contributed to improved patient outcomes.

At Live Well Psychiatry, we're proud to be at the forefront of using data analytics to improve patient outcomes. We are committed to continuing to refine our approach and using data to help our patients overcome depression and anxiety.

We hope this article has provided you with a better understanding of how we use data analytics to improve patient outcomes at Live Well Psychiatry. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression or anxiety, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for help.
