Joana Gonzales, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Live Well Psychiatry, a dedicated psychiatry practice serving the individuals of all ages living in and around Meridian, Idaho. 

Joana completed her undergraduate degree in health science studies and psychology at Boise State University, located in Boise, Idaho. She then earned her Master of Science in Physicians Assistant Studies at Idaho State University, located in Pocatello, Idaho. Joana is certified as a physician assistant (PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. As part of her PA program graduate curriculum, she completed clinical rotations in the content areas of outpatient medicine, inpatient behavioral health, obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, emergency medicine, and orthopedics. She elected to complete her clinical education under the direction of respected psychiatrist Dr. Scott P. Hoopes, M.D.
