Jennifer Hua, PA-C: Guiding Patients Toward Mental Wellness with Compassion

For Jennifer Hua, PA-C, mental health care isn’t just a profession—it’s her passion. As part of the Live Well Psychiatry team, she is committed to fostering a supportive environment where patients feel safe to share their experiences and receive personalized care.

Jennifer’s journey into psychiatry reflects her dedication to helping others. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, San Diego, she pursued a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Graduating with honors and as a member of the prestigious Pi Alpha Honor Society, she began her career in family medicine.

During her time in family medicine, Jennifer gained valuable experience addressing both physical and mental health concerns. It was there that her passion for psychiatry took root, as she discovered the profound impact mental health care can have on improving patients’ quality of life.

“I love being able to build relationships with my patients and seeing their quality of life improve over time with care and treatment,” Jennifer shares. “Mental health is so important, and it is an honor to be able to help people with it.”

Now at Live Well Psychiatry, Jennifer brings this passion to her practice every day. She understands that prioritizing mental health can feel daunting, especially for those taking the first step toward seeking care. That’s why she emphasizes creating a judgment-free space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to share their experiences.

Jennifer’s approach is rooted in compassion and a deep understanding of the challenges her patients face. She views every interaction as an opportunity to make a positive difference and works closely with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

Outside of her work, Jennifer enjoys activities that help her recharge and maintain balance in her own life. From crafting and cooking to spending time with her family, she knows the value of nurturing her mental well-being and brings that perspective into her care for others.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, Jennifer Hua and the team at Live Well Psychiatry are here to guide you with expertise and care.
