Medication Management Help
Category Filters (Current, Historic, Discontinued, Cancelled, Surescripts): Click these to filter the medication list by status. Multiple categories can be selected at once.
Surescripts: Displays medications sourced from Surescripts, an external system.
New Rx Button: Click to open a dropdown where you can select medications to add to the Current category. Select one or more medications, then click "New Rx" again to add them. Note: This is not meant to replace the current method of adding new medications, which is a separate process this wireframe does not address.
Status Button: Select medications, then click "Status" to change their status (e.g., to Current, Historic, Discontinue, or Cancel). This updates the medication's status and date.
Provider Drop-down: Select one or more providers to filter the medication list by provider.
Date Drop-down: (Placeholder) Select a date range to filter the medication list by date.
Reset Button: Click to reset the wireframe to its initial state, clearing any changes.
Select All Checkbox: Check to select all visible medications in the current category filter. Uncheck to deselect all.
Quick Filter: Enter text to filter the medication list by name. The list updates as you type.
Reviewed Checkbox: (Placeholder) Indicates if the medications have been reviewed on the specified date.
No Current Rx Checkbox: (Placeholder) Indicates if there are no current prescriptions.
PDMP: (Placeholder) Represents Prescription Drug Monitoring Program data.
Send Medications Help
Rewrite Button: Click to enable editing of selected medications. Opens tabs for each medication to edit details before sending.
Sign & Send Button: Sends the selected medications. For non-scheduled medications (e.g., escitalopram), creates a new Current copy and a Historic copy with the send date. For scheduled medications (e.g., dextroamphetamine-amphetamine), creates a new Current copy and three Historic copies (simulating three prescriptions sent to EPCS). Sent medications are moved to the Historic category and are no longer visible on this screen.
Cancel Button: Deselects all medications and returns to the medication management screen.
Delete Button: Deletes the selected medications from the list and returns to the medication management screen if no selections remain.
Return Button: Deselects all medications and returns to the medication management screen, allowing you to review sent medications or select new ones.
